Destination Limited were appointed to lead the design and to provide full fitout services for Amway Hong Kong for their Hennessy Road Store (Wanchai) for a pioneering company introducing the concept of direct selling to the Hong Kong local direct selling industry. Amway Hong Kong had wanted a refresh in their retail environment in order to invigorate their loyal customer base and to instill a professional image of their direct selling business as well as providing excellent products to the people of Hong Kong. Destination provided a cohesive retail environment design incorporating the essential key elements and product line of the brand, whilst capturing and enhancing the brand’s product range and corporate branding.
Destination Limited were the appointed designers to provide a comprehensive design concept and interior design for a Show Flat for a multi-level detached house with gardens for a prestigious residential development in the New Territories in Hong Kong. Destination provided full interior design services including accessorizing all areas of the Show Flat including all the decoration displays and artworks in order to deliver a more comprehensive design theme and styling of the Show Flat to appeal to potential property buyers.
Destination Limited produced a 360° virtual reality computer model for this project in order to fully study their design before implementing it into reality. The 360° model was also used to re-confirm with the client the final design intent of the designers before construction began, thus avoiding abortive works and or changes in the construction stage of the project.
Destination Limited were appointed to lead the design concept, development and to build a new interior space for a private art collector to store his beloved and treasured collection of artworks in an industrial building in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. Destination created a 3-dimensional computer model and generated an architectural walk-through of the design space as a tool to better communicate their concept to the client in a more constructive and visual method of communication in order to meet the client brief.
Destination Limited were appointed to lead the design and to provide full fitout services effectively turning it into a design and build project for an emerging logistics company in an old industrial building in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. Destination had created the design concept from the ground up as the client did not have a corporate design guideline and had looked towards Destination Limited to provide them with a corporate identity which the client could use for their expanding network of offices in the region. A dark navy blue colour was chosen as the base design colour and was used throughout the carpet flooring, doors/door frames, architraves and skirting boards which was intersperse with barcode-like glass partition frosting along the offices. A rainbow pallete of colours was strategically positioned in the central corridor of the general office area providing the energetic burst and vitality that the company directors had wanted to invigorate their staff whilst at work. Playful arrangements and detailing in the bathrooms and staff pantry further accentuated the playfulness of the design intent of the new office design.
Destination Limited were the appointed designers to provide a comprehensive design review of the United Airlines – United Club Lounges at the Hong Kong International Airport. The objective of the Refresh Program was to replace outdated furniture & fixtures with an improved modern palette of colours and material that is expected of the modern day traveler. Strategic Improvement to areas such as the Lounge Refreshment Areas, Sitting Lounges, Shower/Toilet Facilities, Internet and Charging Stations and Reception areas form a major part of the Refresh Program. United Airlines also took the opportunity to invest in Original Artworks and allocated a percentage of the budget to purchase Original Local Artworks as part of the company’s global artwork procurement program which also helped to Support Local Artists and the Hong Kong Creative Community.
Destination Limited were the appointed designers to provide a comprehensive design concept and interior design for Show Flats and Sales Office design for a prestigious residential development on fast developing Taipa Island close to the Cotai Strip. Destination provided full interior design services including accessorizing all areas of the Sales Office and Show Flats, decoration and artworks in order to create a stronger cohesion in the overall ambience and styling of the Sales Office and Show Flats areas which are on display.
Destination Limited were the appointed designers to design public toilets, baby care rooms, disable toilets and waiting areas for an established open air retail development at the prestigious Hong Kong Gold Coast Piazza. The project included 2 phases spread over the course of 9 months. The attached video illustrates the various stages of the project from the initial site survey/client briefing, through to design conceptual/schematics and to the fitout works and project handover.
Destination Limited were appointed as the designer to fully develop and design a luxury multi-level carpark at a luxury residential development at 55 Conduit Road on Hong Kong Island. Destination Limited office recently had an invasion of space invaders mosaic tiles aliens. The invasion came in the form of the pixellation of the 8-bit arcade game “Space Invaders”. It is unclear of the intent or length of this virus invasion, however in the meantime, the team at Destination will marvel and feel privileged to be in its’ presence.
